1. Scope of application and operating entities
This policy applies to the SongMuse AI website, future mobile applications, and the accounts, AI song generation, lyrics generation, sound creation, work saving and sharing functions provided by us.

2. Information we collect
We may collect the following information:
- Account and security information: email address, nickname, profile image, sign-in identifiers, sessions, and security logs, used for sign-in, account management, and abuse prevention;
- Creative and voice information: prompts, lyrics, audio, voice configurations, and generated works, used to provide generation, storage, playback, and sharing features;
- Subscription and transaction information: plans, credits, payment status, and transaction records, used for billing, entitlement management, and compliance;
- Device and usage information: browser, device type, language, feature usage, and error information, used for compatibility, security, and product improvement.
We do not ask for or store your Google, Apple, or email password.
3. Recordings, voiceprints and voice data
Recordings and voice samples may directly or indirectly identify individuals. Technical processing that generates a voiceprint or voice signature that can be used to identify an individual may constitute sensitive personal information or biometric information in some jurisdictions.
How We Handle It
- The browser requests microphone permission after you actively click on recording; denying permission will not affect other functions such as text generation.
- Recordings or uploaded files may be previewed, decoded, cropped on the device, and uploaded to the SongMuse server for format conversion.
- For the purpose of creating or validating sounds, audio may be provided to third-party AI service providers for processing through time-sensitive and access-controlled links.
- The service provider may return the sound ID, verification status, or other configuration used to generate the song.
Purposes and limitations of processing
- Only used for sound creation, verification, song generation, security review and troubleshooting that you actively request.
- SongMuse will not use your voice to train its own generic models or for targeted advertising without additional, independent consent.
- How third-party service providers store and process data will also be subject to their contracts and privacy rules; we will add a complete list of service providers and cross-border information before the official launch.
Your Warranties
You may only submit a voice that is your own, or one that has clear and demonstrable authorization from the voice itself. You may not create non-consensual voices of others, voices of public figures, fraudulent digital avatars, or voice casts of minors.
The voice feature requires a separate confirmation during recording or upload. Accepting the general Terms of Service does not replace that confirmation.
4. How we use information
Understand prompt words, generate lyrics and music, create sounds, play and save your work.
Complete login, synchronize music library, manage credits, subscribe and produce signature.
Identify abuse, impersonation, infringement, automated attacks, and Terms of Service violations.
Analyze performance and functionality experience using de-identified or aggregated usage data.
If we wish to use personal data for a new purpose that is significantly different from the above purposes, we will update the notice and obtain new consent when required by applicable law.
6. Retention period and deletion
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the service, conduct security audits, and meet legal obligations. Sign-in sessions and verification codes are retained briefly; songs are retained according to the period shown on the page or membership benefits; voice files are retained as needed for creation, verification, and troubleshooting; voice configurations are generally retained until you delete the voice, close your account, or withdraw authorization; transaction and compliance records are retained as required by law.
Backups, security logs, and records that must be retained by law may continue to exist for a limited period, with their use and access restricted.
7. Information Security
We adopt access control, session protection, transmission encryption, time-sensitive linking, permission isolation, log auditing and necessary data minimization measures. Voice data carries higher risks, so we will restrict internal access and require service providers to process it only within the agreed scope.
No Internet service can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. If a data incident occurs that may pose a higher risk to you, we will investigate, handle and notify you in accordance with applicable laws.
8. Minors
SongMuse AI is not a service for young children. Users under 14 years of age may not register or submit audio. Users aged 14 to 17 may only use general creative functions with the consent and supervision of a guardian.
Users under the age of 18 are not allowed to use the voice creation, voice verification or voice cloning features unless we implement a verifiable guardian consent mechanism that meets legal requirements in the future.
If you believe that a minor has submitted a voice or other personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately for removal.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this policy due to changes in features, service providers, or laws. Major changes will be prominently displayed on the website; if there are substantial changes in the purpose, method or scope of processing of sensitive information, we will obtain new consent when required by applicable law.
