1. Accept the terms and create an account
By continuing with Google, Apple, or email, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Your first successful sign-in automatically creates a SongMuse AI account; later sign-ins may still require confirmation of the latest version.
You should provide accurate information and protect your login device, email address and third-party accounts. If you find that your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
2. Age and eligibility
Persons under the age of 14 are not allowed to register or upload content on their own; users between the ages of 14 and 17 should use normal creative functions with the consent and supervision of their guardians. The current version does not open voice cloning or voice identity creation to those under 18 years of age until we have a verifiable guardian consent process in place.
If you use it on behalf of a company or team, it means that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
3. Service content and testing functions
SongMuse AI provides prompt words, lyrics, audio or sound-driven AI music generation, as well as music library, sharing and related creation tools. Some functionality is provided by third-party models and infrastructure and may be queued, failed, versioned, or temporarily unavailable.
4. Quota, subscription, renewal and refund
- Generation, extension, voice, and similar features may use credits. The amount shown before the action applies, and failed tasks are refunded according to the rules shown on the page.
- Plan prices, billing periods, storage periods, download formats, and other benefits are governed by the purchase and order-confirmation pages.
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual plans renew automatically. Quarterly and annual plans are charged in full at the start of each period (the displayed amount is not a monthly price), while credits are issued monthly and do not roll over.
- You may cancel renewal for the next period at any time. Cancellation does not end the current paid period and normally does not refund it; benefits continue until the UTC expiry time shown on the page.
- Used credits and completed digital content are generally non-refundable, except where applicable law, the checkout page, or the payment provider states otherwise.
5. Content you submit
You retain your legal rights in the lyrics, recordings, prompts and other content you create and upload. You confirm that you own the content or have obtained the necessary authorization to upload, process, adapt and generate the music.
You grant SongMuse AI a non-exclusive license solely necessary to provide the Services, enabling us and the authorized service providers to host, copy, transform, transmit and process your input and generate results. This license does not transfer ownership of your original works to the Platform and is subject to the Privacy Policy and these Terms.
6. Recording and sound functions
Voice samples may be sensitive personal information. Before recording or uploading, you must provide a separate confirmation in the voice-creation flow and may submit only your own voice or an adult voice for which you have verifiable authorization.
- You may not impersonate public figures, artists, colleagues, relatives, friends, or other natural persons.
- The voices of minors may not be uploaded or may not bypass voice verification or authorization restrictions.
- Generated sounds may not be used to commit fraud, harassment, defamation, misleading advertising or falsification of evidence.
7. Generating results, licensing and copyright
You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your original inputs. Use of generated results depends on the plan, on-page terms, and upstream license in effect when the result is generated:
- Results from free and monthly plans are for personal, non-commercial use by default unless the generation page expressly states otherwise.
- Eligible results generated and recorded during an active quarterly or annual plan receive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free commercial-use license, limited to the rights SongMuse AI and its upstream providers are authorized to grant.
- Quarterly and annual plans may provide display attribution. Each song keeps the attribution snapshot recorded at generation, and attribution does not establish authorship or copyright ownership.
- A commercial license validly granted at generation is not revoked solely because the plan is later canceled, expires, or is downgraded.
No license covers unauthorized third-party lyrics, recordings, voices, trademarks, or other inputs, or guarantees that a result is unique, non-infringing, copyright-registerable, or protected by copyright. Downloading a file does not itself grant a commercial license.

8. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the Services to:
- Infringes copyright, trademark, performer's rights, personality rights, privacy rights or sound rights;
- Generate or transmit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, hateful, threatening, sexually exploitative or grossly harassing;
- Impersonate a real person and fabricate their endorsement, words or performance;
- Crawl, reverse engineer, bypass quotas, security mechanisms or access controls;
- Through automated bulk registration, reselling of accounts, or misuse of trial credits;
- Upload malicious code, or interfere with the platform, service providers and other users.
9. Save, share publicly and download
Free works are currently generally stored for approximately 30 days; member retention periods vary by plan. Please back up your valuable works within the deadline. The Platform does not promise permanent storage and should not be used as the sole storage location.
When you actively publish a share page, people with the link may have access to the work. After canceling sharing, the search cache, the copy downloaded by the recipient, or the forwarded content may not be fully recovered by the platform.
Download permission is determined by the plan and the rights conditions applicable at the time the work was produced. Being able to download a file does not mean that a commercial license is automatically obtained; obtaining a commercial license does not mean that the work is necessarily protected by copyright law.
10. Deactivation, deletion and termination
You can apply to cancel your account and delete data. We may restrict or terminate access in the event of security risks, illegal activities, serious breach of contract, payment arrears or service suspension, and provide appeal channels under reasonable circumstances.
Upon termination, expired storage content may be deleted; transaction, security and dispute records that must be retained by law will not be affected by this.
11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that generated results are accurate, original, unique, merchantable, fit for a particular purpose, or non-infringing; you must review them and obtain any necessary rights before publishing, distributing, or using them commercially.
Liability cap.To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, aggregate liability to users acting for business or professional purposes is limited to the fees that user actually paid us during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. No minimum dollar amount applies. This cap applies to consumers only where permitted by law.
Indirect losses.To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, or loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunities, or data; liability that cannot lawfully be limited remains unaffected.
User indemnity.Users acting for business or professional purposes are responsible for third-party claims and reasonable losses arising from unlawful use, infringing content, or a material breach. Consumers are responsible only as required by law for their own unlawful or intentional conduct.
Force majeure.We are not liable for breach caused by interruptions beyond our reasonable control that could not be avoided despite reasonable measures. If a paid service remains interrupted for more than 30 consecutive days, the user may terminate it; where required by law, we will refund unused prepaid fees.
Mandatory exceptions.These Terms do not limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, consumer remedies, data-protection obligations, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Consumers retain the mandatory protections of the law of their habitual residence.
12. Terms updates, applicable law and contact
Major terms updates will be prominently displayed on the website; if the updates materially affect your rights, we will notify you in advance in accordance with the law and obtain new consent when necessary.
